The significance of National Voters’ Day is to encourage more young voters to take part in the political process.
District Election
Morena is a parliamentary constituency which includes two districts Morena and Sheopur.
Collector and District Election Officer is the controlling officer of all the elections in the district.
The Collector Morena is appointed as Returning Officer for loksabha elections.
For the management of the assembly elections, the Collector has all the control powers as a district election officer and Deputy Collector and sub-divisional officers are appointed as returning officer of each assembly constituency.
