Morena city does have sufficient number of hospitals. The most visited and also most developed hospital is government owned District Hospital, which is 350 bed hospital with facilities like in house doctors. Ultrasound facility, in-house Blood bank, E.C.G and Lens transplantation.
There is also a civil hospital in neighboring town of Ambah, which has 58 beds and in-house doctors. Both these hospitals are very critical for Morena’s healthcare services. Government run Primary Health Centers and Community Health Centers are also present in pretty substantial numbers in and around Morena city. Their presence is again very critical for providing affordable
healthcare services to poor and not so well of people. Currently there are two urban Primary Health Centers and seven Community Health Centers in various tehsils/blocks.
